Welcome to the Neighborhood Baptist Church’s Web site, It is a joy to introduce you to our Church. At Neighborhood, you will receive the tools you need to change your life for the better!
We are firm believers that the precise understanding of God’s Word is the gateway to change in people’s lives. From finances to walking in divine health; Neighborhood is committed to equipping people with the knowledge and wisdom needed to make decisions that will positively impact their futures.

As you take this first step you will begin to see that Neighborhood is so much more than a dynamic church in San Francisco. Neighborhood is a body of people led by Christ to bring hope and purpose to our world.
Welcome 2012
I sure that you have heard, 2012 is supposed to be the last year. The End is coming!
What will happen in 2012, when the Mayan calendar ends? Will December 21, 2012 be the end of the world? Is there any acceptance to the Mayan Prophecy, or have we just misinterpreted?
These questions have been haunting the world over a period of time. Year 2012 is a mysterious year. Nobody can predict for sure what will happen in year 2012. However, I believe 2012 is the year of ”completion” and “fulfillment.” The year we are to walk in “Abundant Life”, which was promised to us by Christ:
The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
John 10.10
This year we are going to take a journey in discovering how was can experience “Abundant Life” in every area of our lives. If you are interested in taking this journey with us, we welcome you to come and fellowship with us at one of our services.

When are your services?
We offer two Sunday Morning Services: 8:00 am and 10:45 am
Wednesday Bible Study 7:00 pm
During our Sunday service, we feature excellent programs for children from 1st to 8th Grades (1st and 3rd Sundays) and High School (2nd and 4th Sundays).
What can I expect on my first visit?
Our greeters will be poised and ready to give directions or answer any questions you may have. If you have children, you’ll want to take advantage of our safe and secure children’s services designed just for them. As you enter Neighborhood, our greeters will welcome you, and direct you to our sanctuary. Then, sit back, relax and enjoy the service!
What are your services like?
All services at Neighborhood are comprised of the two primary elements– powerful worship and a life-changing message. Worship at Neighborhood is led by our engaging team of worship leaders.
You will also receive a dynamic, creative and relevant sermon each week from Senior Pastor Lane Hawkins or one of the Associate Pastors.
